WORK BEGINS ON PITCH IN PREPARATION FOR 2020/2021 SEASON

On Monday March 16th the Sydenhams Football League(Wessex) fell in line with all grassroots football when, on the advice from the F A, it suspended the 2019/20 season. Due to the ongoing Corona Virus pandemic a few weeks later the decision was taken by the FA to declare the 19/20 season null & void with no promotion or relegation. This gave Cowes Sports the chance to start the renovations on their pitches and other work that needed to be done around the ground. go to the Gallery section on the website to see some photos of what was being done to restore the pitch.
