The club would like to welcome back MARK RANDALL as Reserves Team Manager and DANNY STIMSON as Reserves Team Coach.

Although it was a tough decision I believe these two will bring a wealth of experience and knowhow to the club and help us further secure our position as the number one club on the island.

Mark is a Cowes man through and through and having worked with him personally, I know the lads in the reserves will appreciate his management style and presence. Danny is another I have worked with in the past and he is a top-quality coach, who will provide great insight and support to the young players coming through the ranks at the club. Through quality coaching sessions and simple plans, I believe he will be an integral part of the coaching team going forward.

With myself and Mark managing all things teams and Alex, Steve and Danny coaching, the club is in a strong place going forward and we will endeavour to get the buzz back at the club.

Here is a message from the Mark himself;

“It’s a great feeling to be asked to come back to the club, we’ve known Max and a Steve for a long time, and we look forward to meeting Alex face to face once it’s possible, and look forward to working with all three of them. We’re both looking forward to meeting all the lads when the current restrictions are lifted and we can get them training asap. We’ve always had the same mentality with football, it’s an easy game if it’s played that way, we play on the front foot and look to attack teams as much as possible, the supporters that saw our previous reserves side will hopefully see the same from the current players once we’ve been able to coach them to play the way we want them to, we’ve got a good mix of youth & experience in the side and we’ll look to encourage the lads to keep the first team players on their toes and maybe give Max a few selection headaches, so hopefully the lads will take it all on board and the club can have a good season! UTY”

I hope you give the boys the backing you have given me over the last few months – here’s to a positive future whenever that is!

MAX DRAPER First Team Manager.
