BURFS THE MAN!
We are pleased to announce the signing of ‘The Midfield General’ AARON BURFORD.
We are delighted to have Aaron on board for the new season and are already seeing what he has to offer in training. After a great cameo performance last year, where he showed the Yachtsmen faithful what he could bring, we had to get him on board.
Aaron doesn’t only bring a physical presence to the team which we have been missing for a few years now, but he showed in that match last year he can dominate games and be the driving force we need. He has already fitted in seamlessly to the group and we look forward to him showing his undoubted potential week in week out at Wessex League level.
Message from Aaron,
“Whilst I have the opportunity to play higher, I wanted to make the most of what I have. It would have been hard to turn down the opportunity to play, and train with the lads. I’m looking forward to a great season ahead for myself personally and the boys.”
