Friday July 9th saw the release of the FA Competitions draws for the first couple of rounds as listed below:-
EMIRATES F A CUP
Extra Preliminary Round played on Saturday August 7th see COWES SPORTS travel to BLACKFIELD & LANGLEY with a 3pm kick off.
The winners of this match will host the winners of AFC PORTCHESTER v HORNDEAN on Saturday August 21st kick off 3pm in the Preliminary Round.
BUILDBASE FA VASE
1st Qualifying Round has the Yachtsmen at Westwood Park with the visitors being fellow Premier Division side BOURNEMOUTH on Saturday September 11th with a great incentive to win this game to set uop a fascinating 2nd Qualifying Round tie also at Westwood Parik with the visitors this time being EAST COWES VICTORIA with tghis game set for Saturday September 25th.
The Preliminary Round of the BRSA HAMPSHIRE SENIOR CUP will take place on Tuesday August 10th with the 1st Round scheduled for week commencing August 23rd. The draw for this is unknown at present
The draw for the FA YOUTH CUP which the newly formed Cowes Sports U18 Development side has entered. In the Preliminary Round they have been drawn away to LYMINGTON TOWN to be played week commencing August 30th. The winners of this tie will be at home to the winners of WINCHESTER CITY v BROCKENHURST in the 1st Qualifying Round to be played in the week commencing September 13th.
